One...Two...Three...A Rant.

Recently I have observed that people who drive the "upper echelon" cars such as the BMW and the Lexus are, oh how shall I say this, jerk drivers! They are the most pushy, and self serving people on the road! They don't care about who they may hurt or run off the road, only that they get in front of you and make it through the yellow (notice I said yellow-not green) light as fast as they can. I say this only because for the past few months or so, I have been cut off, had to slam on my breaks, or have witnessed these drivers do the most dangerous, and in my opinion, stupid and selfish maneuvers. Today for instance, I watched a Victoria Beckham look-a-like in a white Lexus adorned with gold trim, cut off a less expensive and smaller car, when she pulled out of a parking lot and ran a red light. SERIOUSLY!? Who does this plastic mold of a woman think she is, that she can put other peoples lives in danger just because she wants to go through the light and get somewhere faster? Now to be fair there may have been an emergency, but I seriously doubt it. I think that people who drive more expensive cars think they are more important than everyone else in the world because they drive that car.
And what is with those people who never use their turn signals!? It almost seems as if they think the rest of the drivers on the road happen to be mind readers or psychics or omnipotent or something, expecting that everyone will know when to move over or slow down so they can make their move. Stupid Jerks! A friend of mine NEVER uses his turn signal when he drives and it drives me crazy when I am in the car with him! I think he does it just to mess with me because he knows how much it bothers me! BOO!

The moral of this soap-box rant, PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY! (Me too!) And remember there are thousands of others on the road along with you, not only is your life at their mercy, theirs is at yours!

A few years ago I was driving behind a woman in an expensive car. She was driving veeeeeeeeeeery slow. I came up with an on-the-fly put-down.

"Come on lady, if you can afford that car you'd think you could afford a pair of shoes that reach the f---ing gas pedal..."
