The Scary-Orange-Cloud-Of-Doom made yet another cameo today and I decided to embrace the oddity and venture outside. Although I was incredibly uncomfortable being outside, I had to walk to the garage to do my weekly laundry (Boo!). I did find it was not as hot or dusty outside as I invisioned it feeling in my head. I also decided to take a few photos of the yard and Rio-who was grazing on the grass... as a dog does.

(Moo!)
We have also been working very hard (when I say we I mostly mean Tony) to up-keep our yard in the blazing summer heat, not to mention we decided to add a pond and stream as a water feature. This venture has been an ordeal, but I do have to say that all the bumps and frustrations have been worth it because the pond is looking splendid! (Though a bit greenish-which we are fighting with algea reducing chemicals that are not harmful to the fish or environment!) Tony even made a nice little bridge that goes over the stream so we can walk over it without getting our feet wet! But in this heat who cares about a little splashy-splashy on your legs and ankles, it feels SO good!

The "waterfall" into the stream.
