To start off, I have had the worst trouble falling asleep at night, and waking up at a decent hour proves a tough feat for me to conquer every morning; PLUS I have had involvments every night this week. Be it rehearsals, dinner parties, plays or just work at home, I am recently one very busy person! My Pippen told me during our shopping date earlier this week that I looked really tired (and comming from her I know it must be true). I guess it is time for a little break. Maybe a break from everyone. I need some time to myself to just be quiet and relax. Maybe a yoga class is in order, although I will be taking one next quarter and I rather not have to "relax" for a grade. If the weather wasn't so bad, maybe I would spend some more time in the hammock.
To top my busy week off, my Saturday afternoon was shot-I went to a Baby Shower. Now I don't think that Baby Showers are so bad, but I think that they are a little boring especially since I have NO experience with kids. I have had minimal involvment once a week with kids at my church, but that is the most amount of time I choose to spend with children. At the shower we got to decorate onsies for the new one on the way, which is right up my ally! I am pretty artsy- but I didn't really feel I did my best work because the sun was blazing hot and all I wanted to do was hurry up and finish so I could retreat into the cool of the house. I was hoping to be the most creative, but the profuse sweating and dizzy feelings hindered me a bit. Oh Well. I don't have to wear it. ;-P. I did get to spend some much needed time with one of my very close friends, Joy. We spent the afternoon catching up, and took in a chick-flick. Now the Saturday evening task is to close the show from hell that ran for 8 weeks! And on the seventh day she rested.
